Herd sires are arguably the most important part of our breeding program, simply because they have the ability to pass on their good and bad qualities to multiple does, and therefore multiple offspring. We have selected our herd sires from genetic lines that consistently demonstrate the qualities we are looking to have in our herd. While we love the boys, we try and keep the number of breeding bucks to a minimum. We believe this helps our genetics to stay on course.  

Sinai Thunder Han Solo *B 

I am happy to add Sinai Thunder Han Solo to the buck pen. Mr. Solo's sire is Sinai Thunder Ash Hyssop dip and his dam is SG Sinai Thunder O Cassiopeia. His dam  "Cassie" is an accomplished milker and is sired by Cedar View Olivero.  Solo is a smaller buck but very well proportioned and very sharp. He should be a good addition to the breeding line up.

Sinai Thunder O Exodus *B 

Exodus is out of one of my favorite does from the Sinai Thunder herd, Kaapio Acres HH Redemption. Redemption was an exceptional milking doe so I jumped at the chance to get one of her sons into the herd. Exodus has several sons and daughters throughout the country and was privilege to meet a few in person. Hopefully I will see the same dairy character in his future kids here.

His genetics "fit" with my herd as his sire's side shares ancestors with Hark. His Dam, SGCH Lena's kids Pearl (VEEE90) is consistently milking over 1000 lbs from her 2nd lactation on. His litter mate sister, Lena's kid's V Black Pearl (87.4VG) is also milking over 1000lb's in her 2nd lactation.
